The Postgraduate Studies Programme “Aromatic and Medicinal Plant Management Technologies: Cultivation, Processing and Production of High Value Added Products” operates in accordance with the quality assurance principles of the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (HAHE) and the Internal Quality Assurance System of the University of Thessaly. Its academic profile, structure, learning outcomes, teaching and assessment methods, as well as the adequacy of the teaching staff, learning resources and student support services, are systematically monitored and continuously improved, with the aim of providing high quality postgraduate education.

 

The MSc Programme places particular emphasis on student centered learning, the connection between teaching, research and labour market needs, the transparency of selection, study and assessment procedures, as well as continuous feedback from students and stakeholders. In this way, academic quality, scientific relevance and meaningful support for postgraduate students are ensured throughout the duration of their studies.

  

It is worth noting that the MSc Programme received the highest possible distinction during its recent evaluation and accreditation, as it fully complies with the principles of the Quality Standard for the Accreditation of Postgraduate Studies Programmes of the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (HAHE), as well as with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG), for level 7 of the National and European Qualifications Frameworks. The accreditation is valid for five years, from 17 June 2026 to 16 June 2031.
